ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We acknowledge the triune God, our creator, gave the Bungandidj (Boandik) people stewardship of Berrin, the city now called Mount Gambier, the land on which we meet. We acknowledge with sorrow the painful history between the Aboriginal people and the later settlers of this land, and we pray that God may work among us the reconciliation and peace that is the gift of his son, our lord Jesus Christ.
